AMSOIL QUICK LINK FAVORITES FOR MODERN HARLEY-DAVIDSON BIG TWIN ENGINES
Use the MOTORCYCLE LOOK-UP link above if you aren't sure which oil and filter are right for your bike. You would typically want to buy 4 quarts of AMSOIL 20W-50 Synthetic motor oil (3 qts. for the engine ans 1 qt. for the primary chaincase), 1 AMSOIL Ea oil filter in your choice of black or chrome and 1 quart of AMSOIL Severe Gear 75W-110 Synthetic Gear Lube for the transmission, and then fill each according to the manufacturer's specifications. If in doubt, go by the dipstick reading. Always replace the three drain plug "o-rings", the derby cover gasket and the oil filter with new ones during each oil change. O-rings and gasket kits are available from your local Harley-Davidson dealership. Please recycle old oil proplerly.
